About Dominic McLarnon

Dominic is an experienced research engineer, start-up founder/developer and research programme facilitator/manager with strong sectoral experience in the renewables and energy industry. Dominic graduated from Ulster University and QUB respectively with B.Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and MSc in Computer Aided Mechanical Engineering Design in the 1990s. He was appointed a Research Associate in Ulster in the early 1990s working in the sustainability and photovoltaics sector. He then worked as Design for Environment (DfE) specialist at Nortel Networks until early 2000s before running a successful private consultancy practice focusing on construction access and sustainability until 2010.
