CREDIT Technology Gateway’s Academic Director Dr Fergal O’Rourke secures significant funding for Offshore Renewable Energy research
Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) is pleased to announce that Dr. Fergal O’Rourke and Dr. Peter Ryan, renowned researchers from the School of Engineering, have been awarded a substantial grant of €249,106, accompanied by overheads of €54,331, for their groundbreaking project, the Floating Offshore Measurement Platform. This generous funding is a result of the recent funding allocation by Simon Harris TD, the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation, and Science, and is made possible through the EU’s Recovery and Resilience Facility.
